Mind body therapies are techniques designed to enhance the mind ability to have a positive impact on the body. These practices include social, behavioral, psychological, expressive, and spiritual approaches to wellness.

Mind body therapy is intended to induce relaxation and improve overall health and well-being. Daily practice is essential for deriving benefit from these therapies. Research indicates that these therapies are safe and effective ways of mitigating physical and emotional symptoms and improving coping skills in cancer patients.


The mind-body connection is not something new, but might be unfamiliar to many that grew up around the practice of western medicine.
